About the event
Come along to the Backyard Jem farm and see what we are up to and how we live a healthy lifestyle off our block of land.
We will visit the small-scale market gardens, food forest/orchard and the animals (cow, chickens, ducks, rabbits, worms). This will be a great morning out for the whole family - children under 12 are free.
All questions are welcome on the day and we will talk about food and health as everything is connected, a whole system approach while we explore the farm.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
+ Gumboots or old shoes a must.
+ We will run the tour rain or shine.
+ A hot cup of tea will be provided afterward to mix and mingle, share experiences and ask any questions.
